The Micro-X Head CT is a compact imaging device designed for ambulance use, enabling rapid, point-of-care stroke assessment. Replacing the conventional rotating gantry, it uses an arc array of 21 miniaturised X-ray emitters and a curved detector to produce diagnostic-quality 3D imaging.

Developed with paramedics and clinicians, the design integrates clinical workflow, supporting efficient patient handling, scan setup, and decision-making in time-critical environments.
